Join photographer and film maker Geoff Heith as he takes you around various spots on North Vancouver Island to see local scenery, wildlife and shares stories about the North Island.
MEET YOUR GUIDE
GEOFF HEITH
Geoff is an award winning Cinematographer and Photographer who has spent the last 15 year travelling the world and telling peoples stories through narrative driven film and photo. He specializes in working with tourism and outdoor related brands and people who think outside. He loves fishing, woodworking and spending time with this wife and four wonderful kids.
WHERE IS IT?
All the tours start from Port Hardy and Geoff will pick you up from where you are staying to start the tour.
The tour is catered to what each guest wants to see and do and depending on their mobility as well. There are options for short walks around town as well longer excursions into off the beaten track for the more adventurous types.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Geoff will take you on a guided walking tour (with some driving depending on location) to photograph and film various areas around Port Hardy and the North Island. This is an intimate 1-4 guest experience where we take time to study the area we’re in, learn some history, take some photos and videos and just learn from each other.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for anyone interested in having a local take you around to their favourite places you may not have heard of or don’t know how to get to. It’s for those who have a down day or two in Port Hardy and are looking for something to do. It’s for anyone who wants to have a good conversation and explore the North Island with a local.
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
This is a walking guided trip, however a ride will be provided to various locations as well as local pick up and drop off. Depending on the length of your tour a light lunch can be provided by request.
WHAT TO BRING
The first rule of coming to the Island is BE PREPARED!
Camera gear
Rain Gear (you never know on the west coast)
Snacks and water (we’ll have some too)
Good walking shoes / hiking boots
Warm clothes

The trip is catered to every ability and adventure level. Trips are done year round and in any weather (almost any haha)
Our trips plans are as follows :
2 hour local Port Hardy Tour : $150 per person
Tour Options Quatse Estuary, Hardy Bay, Storey Beach and Thomas Point
4 hour North Island Excursion : $200 per person (2 person minimum)
Tour Options Nahwitti River Trail, Suquash Beach
6 hour North Island Expedition : $275 per person (2 person minimum)
Alice Lake Loop, Devils Bath, Eternal Fountain or Little Huson Caves
8 hour Full day West Coast Trip : $400 per person (2 person minimum)
Tour Options of San Josef Bay or Grant Bay
